Doing Actual Pharmacy Work

I know what you are thinking... "Isn't this supposed to be a pharmacy rotation? What are you doing other than sight-seeing?" That is a really good question, my friend.

Yesterday, Mary Margaret and I climbed Galata Tower (for someone who does not enjoy heights, Mary Margaret is climbing alot of towers during this trip - so proud of her). We were trying to wait for a very sunny day so the view would be pretty. Pretty is an understatement. It was magnificent! And what do you do after you climb a tower? You have tea, of course. Aaah... I love hot Turkish tea.

Then we met Aysu and Eli and walked in Caddebostan park along the sea and went window shopping on Bagdat Street. After that strenuous excursion, we stopped for coffee and chocolate.

However, today we did some pharmacy work. We went to the Haydarpasa Hospital and got to read through some patient charts. We were on the pediatric ward, the most fun patients in my opinion. Mary Margaret and I are going to present a patient case here to the students and faculty how we would present to a preceptor in the United States.

So there, pharmacy work. Check. Back to sight-seeing.

Fear of heights? What fear of heights?

We are really enjoying the tea breaks

Not a bad view. Sea of Marmara
